This page is about using this website. What we do for you, and what you can hold us to, is set out in the agreement that comes with an engagement, not here.
What this covers
This page describes visiting and using this site. These are not engagement terms. As soon as work follows from it, the arrangements we put on paper with you apply; where those differ from anything here, that written agreement prevails.
The information on this site
What is written here describes what we do. It is not an offer and not a commitment. The examples on this site are examples: they do not describe your situation, and no rights can be derived from them. We adjust the text when the work changes; the top of this page says when that last happened. The text, images and design are ours. If you want to reuse something from them, please ask us first.
If you get in touch
A message through the form or an email is an enquiry, not an engagement. Nothing is settled until we have put on paper what we will do, what it costs and what we need from you for it, and you have agreed to that. Until then you can walk away, and so can we, at no cost to either side.
Data
What this website records about you is set out in the privacy statement. Where we process data on your behalf within an engagement, you remain the controller of it and we act on your instruction; we set that down in a data-processing agreement.

Questions about these terms can go to the address below. We would rather say up front what we do not do than say afterwards that it was not included.
The full data-processing agreement comes with the engagement, and you receive it before we start.
